Almost Paradise – 1984 Prom Night

Journey back to ‘80s prom night with all the 80s glitz & glam: big permed hair, loud fashion, giant bows, skinny ties and of course big, puffy prom dresses! This live music show features a 9-piece band with some of the Twin Cities best vocalists covering all the best prom and 80’s party music: Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen, The Police, Huey Lewis, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Journey, Bonnie Tyler, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson, The Go-Go’s, and of course, MN’s favorite dance king, Prince! Prom dress and 80s attire encouraged! There will even be a Grand March, crowning a Prom King & Queen, and of course, no 80s prom is complete without the Balloon Arch photo booth!

This is no ordinary juggling act. Featured on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Howie Mandel described this Twin Cities trio as “truly something unique that we haven’t seen before.” Danger Committee is one of the lead acts at the MN Renaissance Festival and have brought their danger-defying juggling act all across the country. Knives, spears, flaming torches and audience inspired improv comedy fly in a jaw-dropping night of family fun and entertainment.

GB Leighton headlined the 10th Annual Blue Collar BBQ & Arts Festival and returns with the full band to the Paradise stage. Through more than a decade and twelve albums, Brian Leighton and his five piece band have been tearing up rock clubs and festivals with a slew of songs that connect with the heart and couples singing along out on the dance floor. Leighton made his national country debut with “Get Up”, his eleventh album and was honored by Billboard.com as a Top 10 Country Artist to Watch.

Raul Midón – Grammy Nominated Recording Artist

The New York Times has called Raul Midón “a one-man band who turns a guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus.” Along with releasing 10 studio albums as a solo artist– he has collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Steve Wonder and Bill Withers as well as contributing to recordings by Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg. People Magazine dubbed Midon an “eclectic adventurist.” Whether touring internationally, performing on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, or leading residencies with young people, Raul Midón is a must see music event.

St Patrick’s Day Celebration with Lehto & Wright and The Northerly Gales

This amazing St Patrick’s Day Event includes music by two different bands, plus the fun of Irish Step dancers. The evening kicks off with Celtic/Americana group, The Northerly Gales who played this year’s MN Irish Festival. Headlining the show is Lehto & Wright, whose music takes cues from the British Isles and American folk traditions and interprets them with contemporary guitar-based arrangements for their unique approach to the world of Folk, Folk Rock and Progressive Rock. Bring on the luck of the Irish, great music and even Irish beer!

Faribault’s favorite comedian, C Willi Myles, returns to the Paradise!
Known as “America’s Everyday Comedian,” C Willi has been combining his quick wit and a great sense of humor to deliver high energy, side-splitting shows for all ages. From sharing the stage with legends like Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and The Beach boys, to playing small theatre venues like the Paradise, C Willi’s non-offensive humor and stories that pull from everyday life have made him a fan favorite with sell out shows from coast-to-coast.
